Sheboygan Charter Schools

There are scholarships for four-year and two-year colleges/universities. Students…you do not need to be the “perfect” student with the highest GPA to apply. ALL students are encouraged to apply.

Guidelines

All completed applications must be submitted to SPEF no later than 4 P.M. on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Please print out and submit all scholarship information to the SPEF Office. When organizing your papers, please avoid stapling and use paper clips instead. Consolidate all your SPEF scholarships into one large manila envelope (or a designated folder) and write your name and school in the upper left corner on the front. Postmarked applications on or before February 23, 2024, are also accepted. Please be aware that SPEF does not accept any electronic applications. It is crucial to adhere to these guidelines, as late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Step 1

Complete one SPEF Scholarship application form below. You only need to submit one application, no matter how many SPEF scholarships you apply for.

This form must be typed out and printed once complete. Once completed, place it in the designated manila envelope. Then, click the arrow below to proceed.

Step 2

Submit one SPEF Character Reference Form. You only need to submit one application, no matter how many SPEF scholarships you apply for. This form can be completed by anyone but you! Such as a teacher, coach, neighbor, boss, etc… However, please make sure to read each SPEF Scholarship carefully. They “may” ask for additional Letter(s) of Recommendation. 

Have the person you chose to fill out the Character Reference Form, print and fill it out. Once completed, have them return it to you and then place it in the designated manila envelope or designated folder. Next, click the arrow below to proceed.

Step 3

Submit one “Official” High School Transcript with ACT/SAT Test Scores. ACT Scores must be submitted with your SPEF Application. Do not request a high school transcript from your counseling center before the end of your senior first first semester. 

Please note when you request your documents you need to request a paper copy that you would then pick up from your counseling/help center. 

Make sure once you receive your Transcript and ACT/SAT test scores to place printed documents in the manila envelope. Once completed click the arrow below to proceed. Or if you are working on scholarship applications before you are able to receive your transcripts. Proceed and come back to step 3 later.

Step 4

Below is a link to a list of scholarship application forms. The link will take you to a google drive folder. Where you have the option to download individual forms or all scholarships forms. Please note, some applications may have additional highlighted requirements listed with in the scholarship itself. 

Print and fill out scholarship essay(s). Once completed, place in the designated manila envelope (or designated folder). Then, click the arrow below to proceed to a checklist.

Step 5 - Checklist

Review the following checklist below before mailing in or dropping off your scholarship packet.

Step 6 - Drop Off Location
