Since our founding we’ve distributed over $1.5 million in grants to the students, faculty and staff in Sheboygan public schools.

The Sheboygan Public Education Foundation (SPEF) administers over 50 local scholarships in 2023-2024, supporting SASD seniors’ post-secondary education plans, including options for two-year technical colleges and four-year universities. These scholarships range from one year to four years and are open to all students, regardless of GPA, as long as they align with their career goals after high school.
SPEF is “excited to announce” that it will be holding its Scholarship Night on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the Stephanie H. Weill Center in downtown Sheboygan for all North, South, Charter, and other SPEF administered scholarship recipients.
The Sheboygan Public Education Foundation (SPEF) is honored to add the Kristin Wente-Stagakis Memorial Scholarships to its list of SPEF administered scholarships for the graduating Class of 2024. The Kristin Wente-Stagakis Memorial Scholarships are open for Sheboygan South High students who would like to pursue a medical related career. Additionally, SPEF has donated around $1.5 million in grants over the past two decades to SASD schools, teachers, and staff, covering expenses beyond the annual school budget. ALL Projects Funded as of Spring 2023 Grants are awarded twice a year, in November and April, to support innovative and creative proposals.
